Homes.com includes basic listings like single family homes and condos, additionally they connect you to realtytrac.com for foreclosures. Home.com keeps things simple when searching for homes. You can search for properties by city, zip or MLS number. Homes can be narrowed by price, beds and baths. You cannot expand your search by amenities, lot features or radius. However, Homes.com Beta has a radius feature.
Additionally, Homes.com provides much less information about the house than our higher ranked sites. Although they have a very detailed area facts section, including local demographics and crime information, there is very little information about the lot, construction of the house or property type. You can print or email a listing, but only registared members can save listings or searches.
The biggest difference between the current Homes.com and the Beta site is the Beta site includes a radius search, full address and map feature. These are great additions to the site; however, we were unable to include these features when weighing Homes.com in our review.
For a real estate site that includes all these features and more see the #2 site, Yahoo! Real Estate.
